Engagement
Photography Session
Hey.
I’m Tony
I’m so excited you’re here. Engagement sessions are more than a warm-up for your wedding—they’re the start of our adventure together.
My goal? To help you feel like you’re hanging out with a friend, not just a photographer. Let’s make some magic and get you those photos you’ll want to show off for years.
Why Your Engagement Session Matters
Get Comfortable: This is our chance to get to know each other, laugh a little, and shake off any camera jitters before the big day.
Test Drive: We’ll try out prompts, find your best angles, and figure out what feels most you.
Celebrate Your Story: These aren’t just photos—they’re a snapshot of this awesome chapter in your lives.
Before the Session
Pick a Place That Means Something
Choose a location that’s part of your story—a favorite trail, your go-to coffee shop, or the spot where you first said “I love you.” The more it feels like you, the more natural your photos will be.
Dress Like Yourselves (But Elevated)
Coordinate, Don’t Match: Go for colors and styles that complement each other. Neutrals and earth tones always look great.
Two Outfits, Double the Fun: Bring one dressy and one casual look for variety. If you want to be extra, bring a third outfit that is right in between these two styles.
Details Matter: Clean your ring, tidy up your nails, and get haircuts within a week of the shoot so you look and feel your best.
Chase the Good Light
The best photos happen during golden hour—about an hour and a half before sunset or right after sunrise. Don’t stress about clouds; they’re nature’s softbox.
Mindset: Let’s Keep it Chill
I’ll guide you through everything—no stiff posing, just real moments.
Pack comfy shoes and a jacket if it’s chilly. We’ll move around, explore, and keep it fun.
On Session Day
Arrive Early, Breathe Deep
Give yourself a buffer so you’re not rushing. The more relaxed you are, the more authentic your photos will feel.
Focus on Each Other
Forget the camera. Tell each other a story, share an inside joke, or dance to your favorite song. The best shots happen when you’re just being yourselves.
Stay Connected
Hold hands, link arms, or lean in close. Those little connections bring your story to life.
Trust the Process
I’ll give you prompts, not poses. Think of me as your adventure buddy with a camera. We’ll keep things light, playful, and real.
After the Session
Tell Me What You Loved
Your feedback helps me tailor everything for your wedding day.
Show Off Your Photos
Use them for save-the-dates, your wedding website, or just to make your friends jealous.
Celebrate
Grab dinner or pop some bubbly—you just checked off a big wedding to-do!
Two outfits, pressed and ready
Ring cleaned, nails groomed
Location permit (if needed)
Props that tell your story (guitar, picnic, Jeep keys)
Comfy shoes & weather back-ups
Playlist of songs that make you smile
Dinner reservation to celebrate after
